Fire Damage Restoration

Restor8 have extensive experience of dealing with the decontamination and cleaning required following fire and smoke damage to domestic and commercial properties.

Our technicians will assess the fastest and most effective way using our advanced technology to return the property to pre-incident condition with the least disruption to the policyholder.

Restor8 understands that your home, business and possessions are precious to you and when they have been devastated by a fire, you would just like someone to come in and clear up the mess so you can get back to living your life. We will work around you and help put the pieces back together again.

All of our skilled staff members have excellent communication skills and understand that many of our customers have been through a very traumatic experience and therefore they are able to deal with your situation in a sensitive manner.

Flood Damage Restoration

Whether it's a minor escape of water or a major flood Restor8 have the ability to respond quickly and effectively to minimize the secondary damage along with returning the property to pre-incident condition and ultimately reducing the disruption to the policyholder. When decided the best course of action for drying the property we need to take into account the type of water loss that has occurred.

These are split into three categories:

  • Clean Water – This is harmless to humans and would normally be from broken water pipes, etc.
  • Grey Water – This type of water will contain significant levels of chemical, biological or physical contaminates and may cause discomfort and sickness if consumed. Typically this could be from dishwashers or washing machines, etc.
  • Black Water – This type of water contains unsanitary agents, harmful bacteria and viral infections, causing severe discomfort and sickness, or worse. This could include sewage entering a building, sea water, ground surface water and water from streams and rivers.

Whichever class of water loss occurs the important factor for all of them is a quick and effect response to the incident.

Escape of Water Restoration

Escape of water incidents — including burst pipes, leaking appliances and damaged plumbing — can cause rapid and extensive damage if not treated quickly. Restor8 provide a rapid-response service to locate the source, mitigate further damage and begin controlled drying and remediation.

We use advanced moisture-detection tools and proven drying techniques to protect structural elements and prevent mould growth, while carefully documenting the loss for insurers. Whether the incident is minor or severe, our priority is to restore the property to its pre-incident condition with minimal disruption.

Subsidence Restoration

Subsidence can create significant structural problems — from cracked walls to uneven floors — and requires a careful, technically sound response. Restor8’s subsidence service begins with a full investigation supported by structural engineers and insurers to identify the cause and appropriate remedial strategy.

Our works range from underpinning and foundation repairs to structural reinforcement and high-quality reinstatement. All work is carried out to current UK building standards and is fully coordinated with insurers to ensure claims are handled efficiently and transparently.
